W.B. Simpson Elementary School
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design and contract administration for this facility. Demolition and new work documents included complete removal of boilers and accessories, split-system air conditioning units and air distribution systems to be replaced by a ground source heat pump system. Plumbing systems were updated with energy efficient fixtures, new ADA toilet facilities, and were in compliance with the International Plumbing Code. The new fire protection system consists of a complete wet sprinkler system for the entire building and a new wet chemical fire suppression system for the kitchen.
