Berlin Power Plant Generator

Electrical system design, construction administration and commissioning for the replacement of one of five 4160V peaking generators paralleled with the utility. New power, auxiliary and control wiring were designed/installed for a replacement 2 MW natural gas generator replacing an 1800kW diesel generator.  Generator protection relays, generator differential protection between the generator and 4160V switchgear, and generator impedance grounding were included in the design.
