Calvin M. Rodwell Elementary/Middle School – New Construction

The Calvin M. Rodwell New Elementary/Middle School serves grades Pre-K through 8 in the 105,000 SF facility for Baltimore City Public Schools.  The mechanical systems consisted of an energy efficient variable refrigerant volume system with heat recovery to serve classrooms and offices, Packaged Rooftop Air Handling Units serve larger spaces such as the gymnasium and cafeteria, dedicated outside air systems to provide ventilation air to the classrooms and office, and gas-fired makeup air unit to serve the kitchen hood.  This project achieved LEED Gold Certification.
