College Run Sewage Pumping Station

Preparation of electrical and mechanical (HVAC) construction documents for the upgrade of the existing sewage pumping station (SPS). The upgrade included removal and replacement of the stations existing outdated motor control center and station housed standby engine driven generator set, including its control panel, ATS and fuel supply/storage tank. The new generator set was provided and installed outside in a weather and sound attenuating enclosure with integral sub base fuel tank. A new discharge flow metering system was added to the station as well as a new influent sewage grinder unit. The existing wet well ventilation system was removed and replaced to conform to current codes, including new intake and discharge ducting and the existing old and deteriorated lighting fixtures were removed and replaced with enclosed and gasketed, energy-efficient fluorescent fixtures. Emergency lighting battery units were added to both levels of the station.
