Compass Hospice

For the Compass Regional Hospice project, Gipe Associates provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems design which included heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, power, interior lighting, site lighting, and fire alarm design.  Contract Administration was also provided during the Construction phase of the project.  The addition to the Hospice facility consisted of approximately 3,400 new square feet. Minor M/E/P design was required in the existing facility due to minimal Architectural modifications. The HVAC design included a closed loop geothermal system, and supporting pumps, expansion tank, and air separator. The exterior geothermal system and the hydronic equipment was sized to serve the entire building. Once equipment was installed, Gipe Associates provided commissioning services to ensure the equipment was installed and is performing as designed.
