Fretterd Center Gym HVAC

Mechanical and electrical engineering design to revamp the HVAC system serving the Fretterd Center Gymnasium, in Denton, MD.   The Fretterd Center is a former national guard building that was outfitted to house the Department of Parks & Recreation staff headquarters.  It also serves as a community center with a gymnasium and meeting spaces available for community use.  The existing heat pump serving the gym was replaced with a single zone VAV unit. This solution not only resolved the current ventilation issues but also ensured optimal air circulation and climate control within the space. The community center’s enhanced HVAC system now stands ready to provide a comfortable and revitalizing environment for all its patrons.
