Manchester Elementary School HVAC Replacement

Gipe Associates provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering services for the HVAC replacement at the 169,555 SF Manchester Elementary School.  The project included changing the central heating plant from oil fired boilers to gas fired boilers after coordinating the installation of a new gas service with BGE. Services included the installation of a new gas generator and electrical equipment to power the school’s designated list of emergency loads. Gipe also provided design for the installation of a generator docking station to allow the school to be used as a MEMA approved shelter.  $4.4M / 169,555sf
