NRL Lab Renovation

Gipe Associates provided mechanical, plumbing, and electrical design for spaces that host a variety of specialized laboratories.  Design of dedicated exhaust systems to provide specific air change requirements and maintain required room pressure differential were included in the renovation.  Utilized existing chilled and heating water systems to serve new dedicated outside air system unit to supply the lab spaces and a variable air volume air handling unit to serve the office spaces. Controlled humidity levels in lab spaces with the use of a steam-to-steam humidifier.
