Oxford Wastewater Treatment Plant ENR Upgrade

Gipe Associates provided mechanical (HVAC), and electrical engineering design associated with the ENR upgrade at the Oxford Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The existing Lagoon treatment systems was replaced with a new biolac wave oxidation system with deep bed denitrification filters.  Our design included systems related to the addition, new headworks building, filters/blower building, sludge storage/processing building, clarifiers, scum, RAS and WAS pump stations, plant drain and flow equalization pump stations, and remote main pumping station.  Engineering design included a detailed inventory and analysis of the plant’s existing electrical power supply, upgrade of the electrical services and distribution system, replacement of plant flow metering systems, a new SCADA system for remote transmission of plant alarm and status conditions, and new emergency generator power. Our design also included service and distribution upgrade, controls replacement, SCADA addition and ventilation upgrade for the existing main pumping station.
