TidalHealth – Hybrid Operating Room

The new hybrid operating room at PRMC allows neurosurgeons to perform advanced medical imaging and minimally invasive surgeries within the hybrid operating room.  It is the first of its kind in the region, allowing residents to stay close to home to receive care that they would once have to travel to metropolitan areas to receive.  Gipe Associates provided mechanical (including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical (including power, interior lighting, fire alarm, telecommunications (raceways/boxes), plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection system design and Contract Administration to serve the new Operating Room.  Mechanical, electrical, IT, and fire protection systems were designed to comply with ASHRAE 170 and NFPA 99
